Three-Pronged Approach

A poem on projecting on inanimate objects.

Strange little fork.

Misshapen oddity amid uniform pairs.

Nicked from some place so long ago.

Do you miss where you were but one?

Or are you content where you are One?

Perhaps I find in you a kindred spirit—

utilitarian but nonetheless uncanny.

Strange little fork.

Feed me a piece of fruit.
